It's just on the other side of a new 'family' style complex with bowling and a few actually decent, kid-friendly restaurants. south of the town proper, close enough for easy access by car (unfortunately, other ways of getting into town aren't as easy, but they're doable!). This is a fairly new hotel, so maybe that helps, but still, everything about this place is superb.
We've always had great luck with Hampton Inns and the Oxford location is no exception.
